In 1995, Sam Chirco joined Cold Forming Technology as the General Manager. For nearly three decades, he has spearheaded manufacturing operations for prototype development, production tool development, and new and regrind spline rolling tools. Sam continues to propel Cold Forming Technology to success through his direction of the Sales and Engineering Departments.
Sam graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Lawrence Tech University in 1984. Right out of college, he started working as a Fixture Designer at Trinova Sterling Plastics, where he designed and processed a variety of different fixtures and machinery to be used on plastic production lines. Prior to joining Cold Forming Technology, Sam spent ten years at National Broach & Machine Co. as a Senior Design Engineer for broaches and gear tools.
With over 40 years of experience in the factory engineering field, Sam runs the daily operations at Cold Forming Technology, working closely with Cold Forming’s owner, John Donnely. As an expert in manufacturing, milling, industrial engineering, and sales operations, Sam is Cold Forming Technology’s boots-on-the-ground leader, always working to improve himself, his team, and the company each day.
